Every loss is considered including at-fault and not-at-fault accidents, comprehensive claims, towing losses, etc. Nonrenewal occurs when the risk of future claims is more than the insurance company is willing to accept.

Heavy rain may cause sewer lines to back up or sump pumps to overflow. The excess water can ruin basement floors, walls, furniture, and more. Traditional homeowners insurance does not cover this type of loss, but coverage is available by adding a buy-back endorsement.
